For the first project of Ba6, I chose to do the JKR competition brief, which was to design a range of 1930's inspired cocktails. I looked at the history of cocktailes and found that a lot of them came from speakeasies and bootleggers in the 1920's and 30's, hence the name Masseria, a bootlegger from the 20's. I decided on the name of Masseria tea because in the old speakeasies, drink would be hidden in tea pots and tea cups. I have also hinted at the idea of disguising that fact that the drink is alcoholic by putting the actual cocktail label behind the tea label.
Thanks for posting. That's what i can say.
