Hidden Norwich

Hidden Norwich was a project given at uni. The aim was to go out in Norwich and find something to photograph that wouldn't be seen as typical of Norwich. It could be good or bad, as long as it's intriguing. I went to the old office blocks to try and capture some interesting images of architecture that could be seen as an alternative to what you would normally think of (the cathedrals and churches), when you think of Norwich.

Typographic poster

I have made a type based poster on the event of my first project 'shopping in the park'. I have tried to juxtapose a flowing natural looking type with a digital font you would see on a shop front or carrier bag to create a striking image that retains the qualities of my original concept.

Bottle label

This is a basic application of my lemon image to a suitable product. I chose Limon Cello because it's a fresh tasting, after dinner drink, which I feel is reflected in my image.

Pick your own

This is an image I've taken for a university project, which was to take any fruit or vegetable and display it in a visually interesting way. I have photographed a sliced lemon with a strong backlight to try and convey the lemons energy and strength in taste and smell. I wanted to show it bursting with life and I hope that I've achieved that.

First project of year 2

Just posting some of my older projects. This was the first project given at uni this term and it was to design an A2 poster for a given event. My event was 'shopping in the park'. Coming up with a good idea for the poster was the main part of this unit and we were advised by tutors to spend as much time as possible on this. Here is my final outcome.
